This old bank building has gone full circle , the original timber & iron building was demolished for the intended building WA Bank which fell through, and then in 1927 the Bank of NSW purchased the lot and constructed the present building . The Bank of New south Wales became Westpac in 1982 the branch closed and the building became Hobby's boarding house. On the 22nd October 1999 the building became a bank again when Bendigo Community Bank opened as the only one in the town.
