The Defterdar (or Nefterdar) Mosque is situated in Eleftherias’ square in historic centre of town Kos. The Financial Minister of the Ottoman Empire (deftendar) Ibrahim Efendi built it at the end of the 18th century (1786). Mosque is a two-storey building with a cupola in the center.
