The bridge has one lane for traffic and one lane for pedestrians, a boardwalk hung on the downstream side of the bridge. About 125 feet in length, the bridge has a double set of Bailey trusses each side and a paved road surface. Instead of the green paint so common on Bailey Bridges, this one has galvanized steel members, making it appear much newer than the majority of its brethren, which it probably is.

To examine the bridge more closely one is advised to park at the small park on the south side of the river, on the west side of the highway. It's just a few steps from the park to the bridge.
