The Goomalling Post Office was built in the Federation Arts and Crafts style in 1910. Before the present building opened mail was sorted and collected from the railway station across the road. the building was designed by Hillson Beasley of the Public Works Dept.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 0900 - 1700 , closed for lunch from 1230 to 1330.
The name 'Goomalling' originates from the aboriginal word 'Koomal', the Silver-Grey Possum that was once abundant in the area.
