Start from the Pole Creek Trailhead which is generally SW, 12.2 miles by road from the Sisters Ranger Station. From the east end of the parking lot, hike 0.8 miles on FR1526-200 to the corner on the left, inside a sharp curve of the road.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe in mound of stones; rising 2"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a U-post which bears S, 4' distant from the corner. Found two reference monuments, 2" aluminum caps protected with rock collars. Also found two bearing objects, sizable boulders with washers stamped PLS 2396 affixed with a PK nail and glue. All of the accessories are marked with LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs mounted on U-post. In addition there are at least two old, burned bearing trees.


What property is this mark defining?:
This quarter corner is also AP 119 on the Three Sisters Wilderness boundary.
