Located in front of the north entrance to Hanger 4 of the
Pima Air & Space Museum is a metal representation of the United States flag as well as a small plaque located near its base. The plaque reads:
IN MEMORY OF THE UNITED STATES
MILITARY PERSONNEL WHO SERVED
ON THE BERLIN AIRLIFT
26 JUNE 1948 TO SEPTEMBER 1949PRESENTED BY
THE BERLIN AIRLIFT VETERANS ASSOCIATION.

Description of Memorial: This veterans memorial is comprised of a metallic US Flag created in a stylistic manner and contains a plaque monument at its base. The memorial is located on the north side of Hangar 4 which contains a variety of vintage World War II aircraft. There is also a veterans memorial park monument just to the north of this monument.
