Located in front of the north entrance to Hanger 4 of the Pima Air & Space Museum is a metal representation of the United States flag as well as a small plaque located near its base. The plaque reads:

IN MEMORY OF THE UNITED STATES
MILITARY PERSONNEL WHO SERVED
ON THE BERLIN AIRLIFT
26 JUNE 1948 TO SEPTEMBER 1949

PRESENTED BY
THE BERLIN AIRLIFT VETERANS ASSOCIATION.
DEDICATED 29 SEPTEMBER 2003

Description of Memorial:
This veterans memorial is comprised of a metallic US Flag created in a stylistic manner and contains a plaque monument at its base. The memorial is located on the north side of Hangar 4 which contains a variety of vintage World War II aircraft. There is also a veterans memorial park monument just to the north of this monument.
