An obelisk with a plaque sited on a rocky outcrop on the side of the Northam- Pithara Rd , Jennapullin. the attached plaque is inscribed with the following :-
"This land 'Loughmore' was granted in 1885 to Richard Bourke who later cleared and settled here. He arrived at Fremantle in S.S.Sabrina in 1853 from the village of Loughmore, near Templemore, County Tipperary,Ireland. He farmed this land until 1926"
