The Haky Family - Uniontown, Pennsylvania



This bench was placed as part of an Eagle Scout Project that was dedicated in 2006 honoring all World War II Veterans int the city of Uniontown. There are 15 benches in the WWII memorial area alone at the Fayette County Courthouse Complex. Names on the granite plaques, total over 3,000 individuals from the City of Uniontown who served their country in its time of need.

This bench honors benefactors of this memorial project, The Haky Family, of which are local undertakers of a two funeral homes and a very large cemetery outside of Uniontown, that dignifies veterans for their service for their country.
