Veterans and Their Families - Uniontown, Pennsylvania
This bench was placed as part of an Eagle Scout Project that was dedicated in 2006 honoring all World War II Veterans int the city of Uniontown. There are 15 benches in the WWII memorial area alone at the Fayette County Courthouse Complex. Names on the granite plaques, total over 3,000 individuals from the City of Uniontown who served their country in its time of need.
This bench was placed by a benefactor of the memorial here. As his wishes, he dedicated his earmarked bench to the veterans and families and brought the taglines: God Bless All, bring them home safely
