This small sad grave of little boy known only to his family stands near the road at Holy Cross Cemetery in D'Hanis TX. The stone is made of poured concrete with a hollw interior so that flowers can be placed there. His life dates and a short epitaph were etched into the wet concrete by hand.
Blasterz believe this is the grave of a small boy because the masculine form of "mio" (meaning 'my') is used, versus the feminine "mia," which would be used to refer to a girl.
The stone reads as follows:
"Nacio
Ago. 5-1923
Murio
Julio - 5- de 1926
duerma Angel mio."
[EN]
"Born
Aug. 5 1923
Died
July 5, 1926
Sleep my Angel"
Date of Birth: 5 Aug 1923
Date of Death: 5 July 1926
