The clock is attached to the end of a short bracket. The clock case and bracket are painted black and the words "Camden Lock" above and "Market Hall" below the clock face are in gold lettering.

The clock face is white with the minute and hour marks painted directly on to it in black. The hour marks are Roman numerals as used for a clock face with "IIII" being used instead of "IV" for four. The hands are simple, slim units with short tails also painted black.
