Start from the Scott Pass Trailhead which is generally WSW, by road 13 miles distant from the Sisters Ranger Station. Hike W from the kiosk on the trail for 0.6 miles, then N cross-county for about 4040' to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" aluminum cap on 5/8" rebar; flush with ground
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There are NATIONAL FOREST WILDERNESS and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs mounted on a U-post which bears N, 18" distant. Found two Douglas firs with scribed blazes, painted red. Both have a washer nailed in the blaze, a yellow BEARING TREE tag and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the backside.
