Giraldo Geraldes (século XII) foi uma personagem semilendária da história de Portugal à época das lutas da Reconquista. Tornou-se conhecida, já desde o século XII, pelo nome de Giraldo sem Pavor.

A estátua encontra-se no meio da serra de Valverde junto ao castelo do Giraldo e tem 2 metros de altura e é feita de calcário. Ele está a segurar uma espada e uma cabeça. Na sua base está a descrição.
