A easy hike if you reverse yourself and backtrack up to the restaurant, but very difficult if you continue the loop.

Location of falls: On Latchstring Trail behind the Latchstring Restaurant, US 14 (Spearfish Canyon Rd.), Savoy
Spearfish Falls Trail is directly behind the Latchstring Inn. The trail loop descends 110 feet for a magnificent view of the falls and follows Spearfish Creek along the bottom of the Canyon floor. Along the trail you will find information signs about the local flora. Part of the trail features remnants of the Burlington Railroad line that ran directly over the top of the falls.
