The Texas Trail of Fame website (see link) has a depiction of Mr. Favor, as well as this short biography:

"Cadillac Jack" Favor was a rodeo professional, a bigger-than-life colorful All-American cowboy, four-time world champion steer wrestler and Bronc buster. Throughout the 1940's and 50's he traveled the rodeo circuit across the country, setting a world record by bulldogging a steer in 2.2 seconds in Houston. He won $18,000 in Madison Square Garden as the only cowboy to ever ride Hell's Angel, called the greatest bucking horse that ever lived. In the 1960's Jack was falsely imprisoned for nine years but was later cleared of the charges and released from prison. In Angola Prison Jack is credited with transforming their ragtag rodeo into a thoroughly professional production attracting big-name performers and thousands of visitors. Jack performed many times in the Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth. He was nominated posthumously to the Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2004.
