One With The Eagle is a monumental bronze sculpture by Pat Mathiesen. Originally placed at the entrance to the Scottsdale Airpark and airport in 1988, it was moved to its present location in 2008 to allow for road widening. It is now located at the intersection of Scottsdale Road and Butherus Road, just off the airport property. The statue was donated to the Scottsdale Public Art collection by the Scottsdale Western Art Association. The statue is of a human with the wings of an eagle spreading through a yellow metal ring, perhaps representing the sun. The piece is mounted on a pile of granite boulders which are typical of the surrounding mountains. It sits in a small dedicated park.
