Start from the Scott Pass Trailhead which is generally WSW, by road 13 miles distant from the Sisters Ranger Station. Hike W from the kiosk on the trail for 0.6 miles, then S cross-county for about 1420' to WAYMARK WMPGQA, and finally 2630' W to the present corner.

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a U-post which bears N, 31" distant. Found four burned snags with scribed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and blank yellow rectangular signs on the backsides. There is a washer nailed in the blaze on each tree. On another tree, found a LOCATION POSTER.
