In front of Wesley United Methodist Church, are several lovely gardens. In one stands a sundial, with a plaque reading: "In Memory of Joann Peacher".
Joann Peacher was born July 10,1925 in Afton, Oklahoma. She and her husband moved to El Reno in 1960. She was an R.N. and her husband was a medical doctor. They were active in the Wesley United Methodist Church. She passed away on March 3, 1999 and is buried at the El Reno Cemetery.
