The faces on the bank would probably be considered "green men".

"Two bas-relief male faces each atop a column that flanks the entrance to the bank. They are nordic, north-wind type faces, surrounded by ornate foliage. The faces are nearly identical, with beards and frown lines, but the face on the left has a wart on the proper right side of the nose. The sculptures are part of an Oxford bluestone facade of a brick building."
