"The Bank Building was built for the First National Bank of Oxford in 1894 from a Richardson Romanesque Isaac Perry design with facings of bluestone from the Oxford quarries. The faces on either side of the balcony demonstrate the stone cutter's art. "

The faces would probably be considered "green men".
