Triangulation Pillar S4778 in Clipston on the Wolds. Please walk around the edge of fields to access and don't trample farmers crops.
The trig point is near to an old Royal Observer Corp (ROC) observation post.

The ROC post is listed as Cotgrave:
"In heavily overgrown corner of field 100 yards North of Church Gate beside trig station.
OPEN, All surface features remain intact but the step is detached and the top of the ventilation shaft is broken. The ventilation louvre is missing and the hatch is detached and lying in the monitoring room. Internally the post is fire damaged with the walls covered in soot. The doors, table and shelf is detached and the cupboard broken up. The twin bunks and single bed remain in place."
