This brown plaque indicates that the Manor House was "built 1845". The building, that still exists, is located on the west side of Mare Street. The plaque was receted by the London Borough of Hackney.

The building is Grade II listed with the entry at the Historic England website telling us:

Early C19 composition of 2, 3 and 2 bays, the centre section of wider proportions. 3 storeys. Outer sections slightly projecting. Stock brick with stucco cornice and blocking course. Gauged flat brick arches to sash windows, lost bars, those on 1st floor centre section in segmental arched recesses. Projecting modern shops on ground floor.
