This bridge crosses over the Hevossalmi strait and links Santahamina island to Helsinki.
It is a swing bridge that is opened every 30 minutes (at half past and on the hour), as well as when it is necessary for professional marine traffic, from 07:30-23:00.
Santahamina island is used by the Finnish Defence Forces and it is closed to the public.
On the opposite side of the bridge are some of the most expensive houses in Helsinki.
