On a house on the trail to the parking lot for St Cirq Lapopie is a small vertical sundial with the motto "Tempus Fugit" Time Flies!

St Cirq Lapopie attracts a lot of visitors, some like us interested in exploring the history. Parking to handle the hordes of visitors is a problem so the town has developed a parking area below town to accommodate visitors. This allows a stroll up the hill and back down allowing time to see some details. One such detail was a house in the woods along the trail into town with a very nice sundial. It is a south facing vertical dial of a size and character befitting the building. I did not check the wall declination as the house was in the trees.
