From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally W, first on US20 then ORE242, for 10.0 miles to the intersection with the Cross District Trail. Park and hike uphill to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on steel pipe; rising 2"
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 950' S and uphill from ORE242. There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a U-post which bears N, 4' distant. Found two white firs each with a yellow BEARING TREE shield and a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the backside.
