The Didsbury Elks Lodge meets meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month except July and August. There is an annual windup meeting every year on the last Saturday in June and guests are welcome. They also sponsor an annual parade in August. The Didsbury Elks sponsor the Cipperly’s Pond Campground in Didsbury, a nice rural campground by a large pond/small lake. The campground is open in the summer from May long weekend through September.
Klinck Block
Built in 1919 for Daniel Klinck, this building's paired upper windows suggest the influence of the Chicago style that, in larger urban centres was characterized by large glazed window openings made possible by steel and concrete lintels. The Klinck Block housed a theatre and opera house that replaced one destroyed in the 1914 fire. The building functioned as a movie theatre until 1968 when it was purchased by the Didsbury Elks Lodge #514.
