This monument has the floral decoration that is common to many zinc markers. The main panel has a set of clasped hands, with this inscription:

G.W. Long

Born
February
12, 1837,

Died
January
26, 1883

On the plinth is an epitaph:

Dear husband, in Earth's
thorny paths,
How long thy feet have trod!
To find at last this peaceful
rest,
Safe in the arms of God.

The other panels are blank, although there is a funeral wreath on the plinth on the rear side of the monument.
