The solar system trail of Inzlingen was created in 2008 in a scale of 1:2,000,000,000, both is size and distance. It starts south of the moated castle where a sun model is mounted on a pole, the other planets are attached to metal information signs on granite rocks along the trail. The planet models are metal balls and do only reflect the size and distance, there are no colors or detail structures.
In 2014 the models were damaged, but have been repaired since.
