Sculptor L'Deane Trueblood is a world renowned artist whose sculptures are in great demand. She has been doing her work for over 25 years, and is especially known for her work depicting children in delightful settings.

This bronze sculpture is 46" x 17" x 40" and is of a young girl about eight years old, pushing a wheelbarrow. She is barefoot, and dressed in a tank top and short skirt. Her straw hat is hanging down her back. Her expression is non-smiling, as she takes her work seriously.

On the sculptor's website photo of this piece, she writes "Hard toil and zestful living, careful planting and hearty laughing. Tiny seeds long sowed, fully grown. A bountiful life, waiting to be plucked."
