Two sets of four guitars comprise the Guitars Icons Bicycle Racks. They are located in front of the Municipal Parking Lot on Cottage Street in in downtown Easthampton in the center of the Cottage Street Cultural District.

Matt Evald Johnson created this original sculptural bike rack as part of the public art project organized by Easthampton City Arts+. The bicycle racks were installed November 12, 2013 by the Department of Public Works.
Matt Evald Johnson’s sculptural bike racks “Guitar Icons” captures, in silhouette form, the shapes of very recognizable guitars. These silhouettes represent the Gibson Les Paul, the Martin D-30, and the Fender Stratocaster.
