Located right off Church Street just past the self storage place heading toward Quaker St from Providence Road. Plummer's landing was on of four locks in Northbridge. It was an important trading location, however came late to the game. The building of Plummer's Landing started at a time when the canal was in decline and being replaced by the railroad. It also had success as a granite quarry.
Plummer wrote the first history of the Blackstone Canal, which was deliverd to the Worcester Society of Antiquity, printed in 1878.
