The Sun Valley Community Church was founded in Chandler in 1990 by John Snyder. In 1998 Scott Ridout became senior pastor. In 1999 the church purchase land in Gilbert and occupied its current structure in 2003. The campus consists of three buildings. The church is Christian oriented and bible based.
