DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1960 (CAA) THE STATION IS LOCATED ABOUT 3.0 MILES NORTHEAST OF FRANKLIN. IT IS A 4-LEGGED STEEL STRUCTURE, COLORED RED AND WHITE AND THE OVER-ALL HEIGHT IS ABOUT 240 FEET. THE RED LIGHT ON TOP WAS THE POINT INTERSECTED.

TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE POST OFFICE IN FRANKLIN, GO NORTH ON U S HIGHWAY NO 31 FOR 3.1 MILES TO A SIDE ROAD ON THE RIGHT, TURN RIGHT, EAST, AND GO 0.6 MILE TO THE STATION ON THE LEFT.
