EN: The station von Däniken is located in the north of the village, just opposite the nuclear power plant of Gösgen.
The train station is on the route Olten-Aarau, which was opened in 1856. But the current station building is from the mid-20th century; a one-story concrete building with a flat roof.
The regional connection S23 between Baden and Langenthal runs once an hour, additionally there are different bus connenctions.
On March 21, 1994, there was a serious incident at the station Däniken. The boom of a railway maintenance crane lacerated the wagons of a passing express train. Nine passengers were killed and over 50 were injured.
DE: Der Bahnhof von Däniken befindet sich im Norden des Dorfes gleich gegenüber des Kernkraftwerks Gösgen.
Der Bahnhof liegt an der Strecke Olten-Aarau, die 1856 eröffnet wurde. Das heutige Stationsgebäude ist aber aus der Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts; ein einstöckiges Betongebäude mit Flachdach.
Die Regionalverbindung S23 zwischen Baden und Langenthal verkehrt einmal stündlich, dazu kommen noch verschieden Busverbindungen.
Am 21. März 1994 kam es auf dem Bahnhof Däniken zu einem schweren Zwischenfall. Der Ausleger eines Schienenkrans schlitzte einen vorbeifahrenden Schnellzug auf. Neun Passagiere kamen ums Leben, über 50 wurden verletzt.
