There are references to these greenhouses in several guidebooks of Iceland. Not because they are extraordinary as greenhouses but because of their awkward orange glow, visible from the ring road, the main road of the country which goes around the whole island.
There are more greenhouses around, directly next to these ones but also in other parts of the town. They are visible from the main road, but not as much as the tomatoes greenhouses and their orange glow.
There are no signs outside. The greenhouses are located next to a public road so it's easy to take a close look at the production.
