A large silhouette-style of a cyclist hunched over the handlebars of his bicycle marks the entrance to the Haven Avenue Bikeway. The Cor-Ten steel sculpture was created by local artist Jose Chora and installed in the spring of 2008.
The sculpture rests on a 6' high support composed of a pair of 4 steel bars which come together within a scroll at the top. The 5' high by 7' long sculpture show the cyclist is bent over in an aerodynamic position. His legs reach the back wheel of the bicycle. The arms and face are created using a series of steel plates.
