His head is lifted and his eyes raised upward. Both of his hands are held palm up and slightly extended from the figure's sides. He wears a simple robe.

DIFFERENCES NOTED BETWEEN THE INVENTORY LISTING AND YOUR OBSERVATIONS AND RESEARCH:
Date on inventory and plaque at statue do not match. Plaque they have listed was not seen. The plaque now says: Baylor University is grateful to Mr. & Mrs. John Koonce for their 1977 gift of "The Kneeling Christ", Charles Umlauf, sculptor, 1973. This statue originally stood near the center of the campus but was moved to this site in 2004.
Statue is in good condition.
