Boswachterij Gees (Forestry Gees) is slightly higher than the surrounding grassland. Therefore you have beautiful views to the east over the fields.
The deciduous forest in the forest range was built in the thirties of last century. Between the trees you'll find fairytale fens and moorlands. Adders, grass snakes, foxes, badgers and pine martens make walking or cycling through the area more exciting.
