The Netherlands is the only Country with two towns on the new Monopoly Here & Now Edition 2015. One of the towns is Giethoorn.

On, March 19, at the official 80th birthday of the famous game Monopoly Hasbro announces that makes Amsterdam and Giethoorn both have established themselves on the international Monopoly board of Monopoly Here & Now World Edition.
Netherlands, our small country, is the only country in the world with two locations on the board!
Amsterdam soon fills with New York and Sydney deep pink areas on the new plate. But besides the unimaginable happened: Giethoorn won a wildcard and soon finds himself as the only town in the world back on the plate; right next to metropolitan Madrid!

Early this year, called Monopoly fans from 182 countries to vote for their favorite cities. In all, the fans have voted about four million times and here the 22 most popular cities are selected, where Amsterdam and Giethoorn there are two of them.
