The Desert Awareness Park is dedicated to educating the public about the flora, fauna, history and prehistory of the upper Sonoran desert in the Cave Creek Area. There are many educational displays and structures dedicated to this goal. The Vista Amphitheater has four rows of concrete benches focused on a shade structure. This would provide a venue for lectures about the desert. Also within the area is a picnic table and fire pit and a grouping of a concrete table and stools. There is a view to the north of the desert area and a neighbors windows. The rest of the park includes restrooms, water and parking.
