Buried in Knoll Cemetery with the Baldwin family and some Revolutionary War soldiers. At least three Baldwin brothers were Revolutionary War soldiers.

According to Find a Grave there were soldiers in the graveyard when the Baldwins started burying their family members, at least 3 of whom were Revolutionary War Veterans. Later Indians and British soldiers were moved here when the Chemung Canal was built.

"Fourth son of Isaac and Patience (Rathbun) Baldwin, among the first comers to the Chemung Valley. He was only 14 at the time of the Newtown battle, but had enlisted with his father to help regain their interests in the Wyoming Valley of PA."
