"Revolutionary War Soldier, Sergeant, Captain Spaulding's PA Militia."

According to Find a Grave there were soldiers in the graveyard when the Baldwins started burying their family members, at least 3 of whom were Revolutionary War Veterans. Later Indians and British soldiers were moved here when the Chemung Canal was built.
