F. M. Thompson West End Store
Constructed in 1922 by West Canadian Collieries, this unusual building is on an H-shaped plan with a one story extension to the east.

The first occupant of the retail portion of this building was the F. M. Thompson West End Grocery, in the west part. The Alberta Liquor Control Board store occupied the east part. Upstairs were the 'Margaret' residential apartments.
