This Grist Mill was built in 1846. It was originally located nearby between Femme Osage and Marthasville on highway D. The energy to drive this mill came from 4 horses turning the machinery that moved the grinding stones. The stones were adjusted according to how fine grain needed to be.

This mill is located at Historic Daniel Boone Home & Heritage Center (visit link)
