Located in front of the Commerative (formerly Confederate) Air Force, Arizona Wing museum in Mesa, Arizona, this plaque and the model plane flying above it, honor the career of Richard L. Churchill. The plaque is located on a four sided brick base. Above it is a pole mounted model single engine airplane. The airplane's propeller move in the wind. The inscription on the plaque reads:

Arizona Pilot for Fifty Years.
