Blasterz loved the cool 1940s cowboy vibe of the Texas Theatre, with its tall neon sign, cowboy silhouette on the sign, and the western scenes in bright orange along the walls from the box office leading into the theater.
Today (2015) the theatre is being used as a rentable event space for wedding receptions, quinceaneras, and parties.
