Taken from the county's parks and rec webpage, "The Julian Pioneer Museum is housed in a late 1800s building containing nineteenth-century clothing, household furnishings, artifacts from gold mining and those of American Indian life. The surrounding park is a nice place to step back in time and relax while enjoying a picnic lunch.
Exhibits at this museum include one of the finest lace collections in California, 1896 to 1913 clothing, photographs, Victorian era pianos, an original Julian City buggy and sleigh, and an extensive collection of Indian artifacts."
