This former Air Force officer has made his fortune in automotive products, but his investment passions lie in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Owning or co-owning more than 100 of the 125 acres in the national historic district. Hickman’s credits include buying and restoring the Livestock Exchange Building, converting ruined hog and sheep pens to Stockyard’s Station, and reopening Billy bob’s Texas after its bankruptcy. He also brought the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and the Sterquell Wagon Collection to the Stockyards.
