BonapART is 8' high by 11' long silhouette sculpture of a dog by Dale Rogers. The artist fashions these sculptures, in various sizes, from Cor-Ten steel. This is his largest version. The characteristic feature is the presence of the bone-shaped opening in the body of the dog, hence the given name.
According to the artist: "The American Dog has proven to be my strongest and most iconic sculpture to date. The profile of the dog is very much of a muttigree, but I have had many people tell me it looks exactly like their particular breed of dog. It strikes a strong emotional pull with many clients."
