The monument, affixed to a boulder, is located on the grounds of the South Frontenac Township Fire Station in Latimer. Access is wezst of County Road 10 at the intersection of Holmes and Latimer Roads.
Professor Mundell is currently a Professor at Columbia University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is known as the "Father of the Euro". He received the 1999 Nobel Prize in Economics for his work towards the implementation of the Euro.
The plaque reads:
